My Life is Devoted to the Well-Being of Cats

As a cat behavior consultant and cat parent living in a multi-cat household, cats have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as a deep love for animals grew into a lifelong passion for understanding feline behavior, improving the lives of cats, and helping keep them in the homes that love them.
I am also a shelter and rescue cat advocate. Under the tutelage of Dr. Rachel Geller, have become a Certified Surrender Prevention Specialist, with a personal goal of helping to keep as m any cats out of shelters as possible by sharing my knowledge of cats.
I don’t just study cat behavior; I live it every single day.
🐈⬛ My Multi-Cat Home is My Classroom
My Home is Never Boring with My Cats
My home is shared with a large multi-cat family made up mostly of rescued cats (15 as of this moment), each with their own personality, quirks, routines, and relationships. Living in a constantly evolving feline social group has given me a real-world understanding of cat behavior that simply can’t be learned from books alone.
🐈⬛ My Greatest Teachers of Behavior are My Cats
My Cats Teach Me Something New Every Day

Over the years, I’ve experienced just about everything cat parents struggle with, introductions gone wrong, litter box issues, territorial disputes, redirected aggression, anxiety, over-grooming, nighttime chaos, and the delicate balancing act of helping multiple cats live peacefully together.
I understand how emotionally overwhelming these situations can feel because I’ve lived through many of them myself.
Understanding why behaviors are happening is the first step toward resolution.
🐈⬛ Every Cat Behavior Has Meaning
Most People See a Problem Cat; I See a Cat With a Message

I see a cat trying to communicate something their humans haven’t yet learned how to hear.
Whether I’m working with a client, writing an article, hosting 19 Cats & Counting, or simply managing life inside my own clowder, my goal is always the same: to understand the “why” behind the behavior and help strengthen the bond between cats and the people who love them.
🐈⬛ There Are No Bad Cats
Cats Are Always Trying to Tell Us Something
Behavior issues are rarely about cats being “bad.” More often, they are signs that something in the cat’s environment, health, emotions, or relationships needs attention.
By looking at the whole picture, together we can often transform frustration and confusion into understanding, trust, and harmony.

Helping Cats and Their People Understand Each Other
Living with cats has taught me that behavior is never random, and every cat has their own story, emotions, fears, and way of communicating with the world around them.
Whether you’re struggling with litter box issues, aggression between cats, anxiety, introductions, or behaviors you simply don’t understand, my goal is always the same: to help create more peace, trust, and understanding between cats and the people who love them.
Because when we learn to truly listen to what cats are trying to tell us, relationships can heal, homes can become calmer, and cats can stay where they belong, with the families who love them.
